The Trash association was founded on May 15, 2005. for the purpose of organizing the Trash Film Festival, with the conspiratorial goal of becoming the regional leader of trash culture in this part of Europe, which was achieved in 5 years of operation! The statute of the association states “to shoot trash films”, but the activities of the association are mostly related to the megalomaniacal project called Trash Film Festival and promo-parties related to the entire creativity of the members. Despite numerous commitments, the Association recorded the videos “Streets are inviting us”, “Let’s go out” and “Full Trash House”, about thirty shorter skits for the purpose of promoting the festival, among which the series “Daratio saves Trash Film Festival”, the short horror film “Magic Chest 2”, and the medium-length 53-minute martial arts film “Overpunishment” should be highlighted. The Association also includes the musical group ?Chubaka Chetri Chudaka and Chubakina Baka? which records covers of Croatian pop hits in English, DJ mister.no and the design-inventor section ?Megatrash!?. The members of the Association are connected by their love for Jackie Chan, David Haselhoff, Freddy Mercury, Bruce Lee, Freddy Kruger, Chuck Norris and other great people who marked the culture of the 20th century, with an emphasis on the 1980s, both in the film and music, and beyond.
